It depends on the presentation you need to display or the content you need to create.

If you need to display a Flash animation or a Flash video for instance, ShowRoom will check if the proper version of Flash Player for Internet Explorer (the Flash ActiveX) is installed on the computer and warn you if it is not.

However all ShowRoom add-ons does not require Flash. Third-party requirements will depend on the add-ons used in a presentation.
